We Stand With Them Today

You have spent so many years

Teaching us to hate each other

You can't deal with the fact

That we now love each other

That we support each other

For centuries

You have pit us up against one another

Told us to fight

For opportunities and chances for better lives

You have made us compete

For basic human rights

So now that we refuse to

Fight a battle which we were forced to fight

We will riot

And we will protest

And if the time comes

We will die for each other

But never will our support waver

We have paid prices

For crimes we didn't commit

Our past and futures

Have been tainted

By your wrong doings

And now as the sun rises on this day

We pledge to never again

Be comfortable in our own dehumanisation
